Masatoshi graduated from the School of Engineering (Physical Electronics), Tokyo Institute of Technology
Completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.

He worked for about 10 years at Accenture, focusing on management strategy consulting in the telecommunications, high-tech, media, and internet industries. Subsequently joined DeNA, where he was responsible for the mobile gaming business in the U.S. and European markets, later becoming CEO of DeNA Life Sciences to launch new businesses. After that, he engaged in domestic and international venture investments, joining Eight Roads (Fidelity VC) in 2016 as a Principal, focusing on venture investments. Since 2021, he has been with MPower Partners as a Partner, overseeing overall venture investment activities.
