Layla Araiinejad is a fusion and energy economics researcher and co-founder of Module 12, a boutique consulting firm supporting startups, investors, and government programs with financial, commercial, and techno-economic modeling for advanced energy technologies. With a background spanning engineering and energy systems analysis, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the commercialization of emerging energy technologies. She is a former Research Associate and active collaborator at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center. While at MIT, she led the techno-economic analysis for the Nuclear Fusion Study at the MIT Energy Initiative and later published her graduate thesis on the topic.
