Caleb Barnes is an Associate Director for Fusion Energy at the Special Competitive Studies Project, and the author of the U.S. Fusion Supply Chain Report. Prior to joining SCSP, he worked in the Virginia Tech Transport Theory Group (VT3G), developing machine learning programs to predict the location and amount of burnup in spent nuclear fuel casks. He holds an M.Eng. in Nuclear Engineering from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Virginia.
