Sam is a Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners in San Francisco, focused on early and growth stage investments in AI, infrastructure, and frontier technologies. Bessemer is one of the oldest and largest venture capital firms in the world, with over $20 billion under management and a portfolio that includes companies like Waymo, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Twilio. Sam's investments include Inertia, Anthropic, Legora, Canva, and MaintainX, among others.

Before venture, Sam started his career in J.P. Morgan's Technology, Media, and Telecommunications investment banking group, advising private and public companies on M&A and capital markets transactions. He then joined Harvest Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, where he worked on software and business services buyouts before moving into venture and growth investing.
