"KF builds the systems that every commercial fusion plant needs, independent of fusion approach. We engineer the critical equipment and technologies that the entire industry relies on: gyrotron heating systems, the D-T fuel cycle, and breeding blankets.
Our UNITY™ Program is the world's most advanced staged validation platform for these systems. UNITY-1 (operational) tests integrated blanket and power generation. UNITY-2 (commissioning stage in 2026; built with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories via Fusion Fuel Cycles Inc.) will be the first facility to demonstrate a continuous, end-to-end tritium fuel cycle. UNITY-3 (in conceptual design; built with Oak Ridge National Laboratory) will validate breeding blanket performance under prototypic fusion nuclear conditions.
KF operates across Japan, the UK, the US, Germany, and Canada — sitting at the center of the global fusion supply chain.
