Dr. Arunsinh B. Zala is the Co-founder and CEO of PlasmX, a Singapore-based deep-tech startup developing advanced plasma surface engineering and coating technologies for fusion energy and other high-performance industries. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, where his research focuses on plasma materials processing and advanced coatings.
With over a decade of experience in plasma science, materials engineering, and nuclear fusion research, Dr. Zala has developed technologies for extreme-environment applications across fusion energy, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing. He is the inventor of multiple patented and disclosed plasma technologies and has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications.
At PlasmX, Dr. Zala is leading the commercialization of a novel plasma coating platform aimed at strengthening the global fusion supply chain through faster, more sustainable, and scalable manufacturing solutions.
