As Director, People at SGInnovate, Jae leads the organisation's efforts to develop and strengthen Singapore's deep tech talent ecosystem. She oversees SGInnovate's flagship talent programmes, learning and development function and global outreach efforts, building partnerships with industry, academia and international ecosystems to expand opportunities for deep tech talent. Her work spans workforce development, industry-ready skills, talent mobility, and connecting high-calibre talent with promising deep tech startups, helping to strengthen Singapore's position as a hub for deep tech innovation.

Beyond talent, Jae oversees SGInnovate’s ecosystem-building efforts, strategic priorities and engagement with the broader deep tech community, supporting efforts to seed and nurture emerging tech communities and amplify the impact of SGInnovate’s work through strategic communications and public engagement.

Prior to joining SGInnovate, Jae spent over two decades as an HR leader in Singapore’s public service, most notably at the Energy Market Authority (EMA), where she led the statutory board’s human resources and organisational development function. She spearheaded initiatives across talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, recruitment, compensation and organisational culture, and was recognised as a Leading HR Leader at the Singapore HR Awards in 2014.

Jae graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
