Speaker Bio
Sergei is a founding partner at Module12, a boutique advisory firm focused on the financing and commercialization of fusion. The firm works with fusion developers, investors, corporates, and government clients on techno-economic analysis, FOAK financing frameworks, financial modeling, and commercialization strategy.

Sergei brings 18+ years of experience in energy finance and corporate finance across large consulting firms and major energy companies. Over his career, he has led and supported over 50 energy-sector projects globally, spanning asset valuation, corporate development, and investment analysis.

At Module12, Sergei's focus is on fusion financing and valuation frameworks, including financial incentives for fusion deployment: how governments and markets shared the cost and risk of first facilities in other industries, and what of that applies to fusion. He also works on valuation of fusion companies, where standard methods poorly capture pre-revenue, high-risk, capital-intensive technology development.

He co-teaches the "Business of Fusion Energy" course delivered at MIT and Princeton/PPPL. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, an MSc in Physics, and is an ACCA-qualified accountant.
