Jupiter Lucas (he/him) is a serial entrepreneur on the Oxford Venture Scouts program, where he is one of five founders working with Oxford professors to commercialise university IP into spinout companies. He is transitioning into deeptech after a career spanning tech and venture. He currently leads JLB Labs, a tech and venture studio that recently worked with the UKAEA and RAICo on a project on innovation ecosystems in nuclear and robotics tech. Previously, he founded District Technologies in 2017, a smart building and community platform that partnered with major landlords like Blackstone and corporates such as WPP. District reached seven-figure revenues, became profitable, and was acquired in 2022. Earlier, he built and scaled coworking campuses, and holds an MEng in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford, where his thesis focused on innovation ecosystems.
