He has been a member of the CONECTUS board since 2014 and has served as its chairman since 2019. CONECTUS is the European association of companies in superconductivity. He is also a member of the ESAS (European Society for Applied Superconductivity) board.
From 2014 to 2019, he was Deputy Chairman of dIIF, the German ITER industry association. Since 2024, he has been a board member of Pro-Fusion, the German fusion industry association.
