Andrew is the Senior Manager, Transformative Innovation Initiatives at Tennessee Valley Authority. Responsible for leading TVA’s research and development efforts to advance net-zero carbon emissions enabling technologies through initiatives designed to develop feasible pathways to lower our grid carbon intensity. Focused on leading TVA's Storage Integration, Decarbonization, and Advanced Nuclear initiatives while collaborating with our grid, electric vehicle, communities, and customer related initiatives.

Andrew began his career at an engineering procurement and construction company with experience on large environmental controls projects (SO2 scrubbers and Dry Fly Ash Handling) at several fossil generating plants. Andrew continued his career in the power industry joining TVA in 2012 and has held a series of operational and business planning roles. Prior to joining the innovation team Andrew served as a site engineering manager and as a site operations manager of a 9-unit fossil generation plant.
