Matthew Munderville is the Program Director and primary liaison between the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC) and Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS). His research portfolio spans plasma physics and controls, high temperature superconducting (HTS) and copper magnets, and fusion materials and fuel cycle. Mr. Munderville also oversees a growing R&D collaboration with Type One Energy Group.
Mr. Munderville has previously held commercial and R&D management positions in the additive manufacturing industry and the high voltage RF industry. He holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management and bachelor’s degrees in English and Physics from the University of Rochester.
