Anku is a Principal at Obvious Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm that invests in world-positive companies reimagining trillion dollar industries. Before joining Obvious, Anku was an investor at Hitachi Ventures and Plug and Play Ventures, where he invested in deep tech and climate, and co-founded Undercover Colors, a company that was focused on ending drug-facilitated sexual assault. Anku grew up in North Carolina and holds a B.S. from North Carolina State University. He also made a (misguided) attempt at a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Duke University. He enjoys geeking out about coffee brew methods, vintage (and modern) sci-fi, tennis, and snowboarding.
