John joined Husch Blackwell in 2024, where he helps companies develop, fund, and deliver advanced science and engineering projects related to commercial fusion, AI, and quantum computing. Previously he was general counsel and corporate secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). His experience at Fermilab included working with the US government and private industry to advance and commercialize deep tech innovations developed at research universities and national laboratories. John holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA from Oberlin College.
