Dr. Ryan Weed is a physicist, former USAF Test Pilot, and three-time NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts Fellow. A veteran of Blue Origin and the founder of Positron Dynamics, he holds a PhD in Physics from the Australian National University and a B.S. from Columbia University. Previously, he served as a Program Manager for the Pentagon's Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), where he launched the Nuclear Advanced Propulsion and Power (NAPP) program. Most recently, he co-founded Eos Atomics in 2023 to enable fusion through compact and efficient neutral beam injection.
