Antti Snicker is a Senior Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Antti leads development and applications of the ASCOT5 code for simulating energetic particle behavior in fusion plasmas, enabling predictive insights for reactor performance and stability. His expertise spans integrated modelling workflows, including neutron transport, to bridge physics and engineering challenges in next-generation fusion devices. Antti actively contributes to international collaborations and shares advances that accelerate the path toward sustainable fusion energy. Beyond research, he is an accomplished endurance athlete with multiple Ironman finishes, reflecting a trademark Finnish Sisu spirit.
