Andreas is a graduated mechanical engineer (Dipl.-Ing.) with extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector. After completing his mechanical engineering degree in 1997, he started his career at the Würgassen NPP. He gained international experience through positions at the European Commission, E.ON’s Brussels office and nuclear innovation center at E.ON’s HQ., followed by leading the decommissioning program at Isar NPP. Since April 2017, he serves as Head of Portfolio Strategy and Steering for Decommissioning and Dismantling and, as of January 2024, also oversees the topics in terms of site development and brownfield transformation at PreussenElektra GmbH.
