Faraday Factory Japan – founded in 2011 and based in the Greater Tokyo area – manufactures second-generation high-temperature superconducting (HTS) tape. The company became part of the US-based Faraday 1867 Holdings LLC in 2022. It is the world's largest supplier of HTS conductors for applications including fusion-energy, aerospace, power equipment, scientific and healthcare instrumentation.

Faraday Factory Japan has a team of 100 employees and produces HTS tape in a 24/7 mode using advanced pulsed laser deposition technique. The company has supplied close to 10,000 km of HTS tape to global fusion industry and continues to expand its production capacity and improve product portfolio.
