SuperPower Inc. is a world leading developer and supplier of REBCO high temperature superconducting (HTS) wires. We use both MOCVD and PLD technologies for the manufacturing of the HTS wire. Applications of the HTS wires include but are not limited to compact fusion reactor magnets, high-field NMR magnets, electric machines, maglev systems, and medical systems. We are currently focused on increasing our production capacity to meet the growing demand from the market. SuperPower is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. (FEC), headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. FEC also manufactures low temperature superconducting (LTS) wires including NbTi and Nb3Sn wires that are utilized by various applications.
