Manish Singhal is the Founding Partner of pi Ventures, one of India's first AI and deep-tech-focused venture capital funds, which he launched in 2016 to back early-stage founders building in machine learning, AI, and IoT out of India. He is an operator-turned-investor who spent over two decades building video, compression, and communication systems at companies like Motorola and Sling Media, giving him a technologist's instinct for evaluating deep-tech companies from the inside out.

Before founding pi Ventures, Manish co-founded LetsVenture.com and helped it become a leading marketplace connecting startups with early-stage investors in India. Earlier in his career, he served as India Country Manager for Sling Media, where he built the R&D and product team from scratch, ultimately leading it to a successful acquisition by EchoStar for $380 million. This blend of hands-on product-building and startup ecosystem experience shapes his hallmark "operator-first" approach to investing.

At pi Ventures, Manish applies a highly selective, IP and product-led investment thesis across areas like space tech, semiconductors, and quantum computing, and serves on the boards of several portfolio companies including Agnikul, Pixis, Moonrider, Pranos Fusion, Lightspeed Photonics and others.

He is a keen sports enthusiast and a published wild life photographer.
