Brigit is a classically trained chemist who brings 18 years of leadership experience spanning medical devices, biotechnology, and consumer electronics to OpenStar. She holds a Master's degree in Analytical Environmental Chemistry along with undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology. During her tenure at Apple, she contributed to multiple patent developments, and her research has been published in Nature. At OpenStar, she provides operational strategy guidance, specialising in stakeholder engagement across technology development, business operations, and government relations. Her deep understanding of how technical teams collaborate to deliver transformative products enables her to bridge innovation with practical implementation. Brigit's commitment to building inclusive organisations has been demonstrated through diversity initiatives since 2007, and she continues this work as a mentor in the TechWomen program with the United States State Department.
