David brings deep financial, commercial and operational experience to First Light Fusion, shaped by a career spanning corporates, SMEs, technology start-ups and university spinouts.

He held CFO, COO and CEO roles before founding Right Brain Finance, advising technology companies through fundraising, growth and scale-up. First Light Fusion was one of those clients.

David joined the Board in 2015 and has since played a central role in the company’s development, leading across fundraising, commercial strategy, operational scale-up and organisational growth initiatives.

He holds a BA in Geography, an MSc in Psychology and is a CIMA Associate.
