Julien Marteau is Director of the Cryogenic Technologies & Solutions Business Unit at Air Liquide advanced Technologies where he leads the company’s activities in the fusion energy sector and other deep tech activities. In this role, he focuses on supporting dynamic market growth, structuring robust technological and industrial value propositions, and driving the scale-up and competitiveness of advanced cryogenic solutions.


Over his 20-year career with the Air Liquide Group, Julien has held a diverse range of senior leadership positions. He served as Director of Projects and Operations for a Business Unit at Air Liquide advanced Technologies. His extensive background also includes driving hydrogen fuel cell innovation at AXANE, as well as holding the roles of Operations Director and Commercial Director for Orkyn, Air Liquide’s home healthcare division.


Julien holds an engineering degree. He is based in Air Liquide’s Campus Technologies Grenoble.
