Greg Keenan is the Senior Director of WARF Ventures at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). He leads early-stage equity investments and the commercialization of breakthrough technologies emerging from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Greg has played a pivotal role in advancing the fusion energy sector as an investor in Realta Fusion and SHINE Technologies—two Wisconsin-based companies pioneering commercial fusion innovation.

At WARF Ventures, Greg oversees investments from the WARF Venture Fund and directs the WARF Accelerator, a proof-of-concept fund designed to de-risk promising university technologies and advance them closer to commercial viability. With deep expertise in innovation management and startup investment, Greg is passionate about supporting ambitious teams and transformative technologies that tackle some of the world’s most complex challenges. He is recognized for fostering strong partnerships across academia, industry, and the investment community, accelerating the path from groundbreaking research to real-world impact.

Greg holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S.E. in Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania.
