David Nowak, P.E. is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Sentry Equipment, a Wisconsin-based company and a peerless global provider of sampling and process improvement technologies that protect people and the environment for a safer world.
With nearly 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, and cross-functional leadership, David has been integral in shaping Sentry’s next-generation products, improving engineering workflows, and aligning design and manufacturing processes with business growth. Through his guidance and leadership, Sentry has expanded innovation initiatives, product lifecycle management, and the integration of digital tools to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.
Nowak holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University, as well as an Executive MBA in International Business. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
With a passion for developing the next generation of engineers, David serves on the Board of Directors for STEM Forward, a nonprofit dedicated to STEM outreach in southeastern Wisconsin, and on the Industrial Advisory Board for the Water Equipment and Policy Center, a National Science Foundation-supported research consortium.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, running, hiking, and traveling.
