Nick Sugimoto is the CEO of Honda Innovations, Co., Ltd. (www.hondainnovations.com), the global open innovation HQ of Honda based in Tokyo, Japan. Nick also serves as Chairman of Honda Innovations Silicon Valley, Inc. based in Mountain View, CA. Nick oversees Honda’s advanced technology partnership projects, as well as strategic investment program called ‘Honda Xcelerator Ventures’ on global basis. Prior to joining Honda, Nick was a successful entrepreneur as well as venture investor in both the US and Japan. Nick received his engineering degree from the University of Tokyo and MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
